Upcoming Preaching Series/Bible Study Opportunity - During the months of September & October the messages will focus on the book Unchristian by David Kinnaman. The book exposes surprising research about what outsiders think of Christianity; and engages ways to correct our image problem. This book addresses what a new generation really thinks about Christianity...and 'why it matters'. It addition to the sermons, there will be a group study on Wednesday evenings (September 1- October 6) that will compliment the messages and allow for deeper engagement of the material. If you are interested in participating in the small group, or would like to read along with the series, please sign up in the narthex. Books will cost $10.
Are you interested in 'Discovering a new way to healthy living?' We are starting a Healthy Living Group/Bible Study this fall at PGUMC. We will be using the program 'First Place 4 Health' and will follow the bible study and weight loss support tools. We hope to have a great group to work on spiritual disciplines as well as healthy lifestyle choices. The group is open to anyone and we hope you'll consider joining us. There is a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board in the narthex. We need an approximate number of attendees so we can look at our materials, room location and meeting night. If you want to look up the program, visit www.firstplace4health.com. If you have questions, see Niki Coleman.
